Transfer payments usually confirm instantly, but bank networks can sometimes delay. If you don't receive your ticket within 30 minutes, please email support@tickket.app with your payment receipt.

Are ticket fees refundable?

The ticket price is refundable if the event is cancelled, but the booking fee/processing fee is generally non-refundable as it covers the cost of the transaction.

Can I pay with a foreign card?

Currently, we primary support Nigerian-issued cards. Some international cards may work if they support 3D Secure, but we recommend using a Nigerian card or bank transfer for the best experience.

How do I download my ticket?

Once your payment is confirmed, a ticket link is sent to your email. You can also view all your tickets by logging into your Tickket account and visiting the 'My Tickets' section.

I lost my ticket email. What should I do?

Don't worry! You can visit your Tickket account to view your tickets. If you can't log in or didn't create an account, please contact our support team at support@tickket.net, and we'll help you recover your tickets.

How much does Tickket charge organisers?

Our pricing is simple and transparent. We charge a 7% commission on event ticket sales and a 10% commission on voting contest revenue. There are no monthly subscriptions or hidden setup fees—we only make money when you do.

What are the payment processing fees?

In addition to our commission, there is a standard payment gateway fee (charged by Paystack) of 1.5% + ₦100 for local transactions. You can choose whether to pay these fees yourself or pass them to your customers at checkout.

Is there a maximum fee cap?

Yes! Paystack gateway fees are capped at ₦2,000 per transaction. This means for very large ticket orders or bulk votes, you'll never pay more than ₦2,000 in processing fees regardless of the total amount.

Are there any hidden charges?

No. The only deductions from your sales are the platform commission (7% or 10%) and the payment gateway fees. All bank settlement charges for sending money to your local account are covered by us.

When do I get my money?

We operate on a Next Business Day settlement cycle. This means your funds are settled to your bank account on the next business day following each successful sale. For example, tickets sold on Friday are typically settled on Monday. You don't have to wait for your event to end to access your funds.

How is my payout calculated?

Your payout is calculated as: [Total Sales] - [Tickket Commission (7% or 10%)] - [Paystack Fees]. If you enabled the 'Pass Fees to Customer' feature, the Paystack fees are paid by the buyer, leaving you with your full ticket price minus only our commission.
